2. Application procedure
(1)Applicants should pass HSK Examination (Chinese Language Examination) before application.(Band Six or above is required for liberal arts graduate, Band Five or above for science graduate; Band Seven or above is required for liberal arts doctor, Band Six for Science doctor), They can also apply for being exempted from the HSK examination.
(2)Applicants should submit the foreign undergraduate reference from Foreign Students Office of Office for International Academic Exchanges of Nankai University, the certification of HSK examination, graduation certificate and Bachelor's or Master's degree diploma(copies are acceptable), transcript, and the letter of recommendation from the applicants' professors
(3)After being considered qualified by Recruitment Office of the Graduate Department, applicants should pay ? 500 as the application fee and fill the registration form.
(4)The registration form, after being subscribed and stamped by the departments, should be returned to Recruitment Office of the Graduate Department. The applicants should take the examination permit during the permitted period.
(5)The applicants, who are not in China , can entrust someone else other person to sign up on their behalf or apply by mail. The examination will be carried out in Nankai University .

3. Majors and the number of applicants admitted: All the subjects and majors in enrolment catalogue promulgated in China will receive foreign students. Every professor can receive at most 3 foreign graduate students per year.

III Examination
1.Entrance examination date: Around May 20 (the specific time will be indicated on the examination permit)

2.Entrance examination subjects: Chinese language and two specialties.

3.Entrance examination time limit: 3 hours each subject

4.Entrance examination location: Nankai University
